Mark Doyon is an American author, recording artist, and creative director.

He wrote the short-story collection Bonneville Stories and edited the literary magazine Friction. His work has been featured in PopMatters, The Washington Post, The Daily Vault, Hybrid, Skope, The Absinthe Literary Review, 3AM Magazine, Hypebot, Riffraf, and many other publications.

He received a B.A. in English from the College of William and Mary and a master’s in arts management from the Shenandoah Conservatory.

He makes albums as Arms of Kismet (and sometimes as Waterslide), and released music formatively as Wampeters.

As founder of the arts label Wampus, he represents original books and music, including retrospectives of the lives and work of Warren Zevon, Lou Reed, and Jonathan Richman.

His tragicomic novel, Deep Fried, will be published by Wampus on September 17, 2024.
